More about the Wheelchair Rugby 50p
Wheelchair rugby made its first appearance at the Paralympic games in Sydney in 2000, and has been described as a combination of ice hockey, basketball and rugby. It is one of three paralympic coins in the Olympic 50p collection, and was designed by Natasha Ratcliffe who also designed the Handball 50p.
